About the Position: As the Army's primary integrator of C5ISR technologies and systems, the U.S. Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center conducts Research and Development, or R&D, across a wide variety of capability areas that support all of the Army's Modernization priorities. This is an Interdisciplinary position and may be filled with any of the listed occupations.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- You will serve as the Branch Chief for the Sustainment, Test, and Air-Ground Radio (STAGR) Branch in support of Fielded Systems Engineering
- As a Branch Chief you will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight and management of the assigned branch, consisting of multiple teams.
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading a diverse multi-technology engineering, development and technology integration branch.
- Utilizes knowledge of Communications, Computer, Cyber technologies, systems, architectures, or practices to oversee the efforts of a professional, technical, and administrative workforce engaged in defining the direction for the branch.
- Advocates for reprogramming of budget resources, provides management oversight, or technical cooperative planning.
- Plans work to be accomplished within responsible projects by setting priorities or scheduling completion of milestones.
- Utilizes an extensive knowledge of engineering/scientific theories, principles or practices in the execution of tasks.
- Makes sound personnel management decisions.
