These positions are filled utilizing the Direct Hire Authority, which can appoint qualified candidates possessing a bachelor or an advanced degree to professional scientific and engineering positions within The US Army Combat Capability Development Command (CCDC) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC).

Job Description: US Army CCDC AvMC, Technical Management Divisions of the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering & Integration Directorate is looking for Engineer(s) to support program office acquisition in the areas of project and general engineering.

Duties:

1. Support efforts managing system level requirements pertaining to Army Aviation and Missile systems.
2. Support system design development, integration and qualification testing.
3. Support the development of technical programmatic documentation, proposed courses of action and resolutions.
4. Participate in and support of major technical reviews, technical interchange meetings, integrated product team meetings, working groups and/or safety reviews or safety board meetings which require application of system engineering principles.
5. Provide technical input to the development of Statement of Work (SOW) documents leading to contract award.
6. Develop and review technical documents, specifications, interface control document and related programmatic documentation.
7. Develop and provide briefing technical information to program decision makers.
8. Support multi-disciplinary Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
