About the Position: This position is located at the Aviation and Missile Center located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Renewable Term Employees are eligible to apply for this position in accordance with P.L. 115-232 Section 1112.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior engineer, technical consultant, and safety functional lead for a major Army missile system.
• Responsible for leading subject matter experts to accomplish Project Manager program objectives and ensuring key engineering and safety tasks are coordinated across the Project Office.
• Responsible for coordination of engineering and safety activities required for product development as well as product sustainment to include obsolescence and materiel release.
• Responsible for tracking technical contracts packages and leading the completion of engineering and safety review board tasks.
• Coordination of Staff Action Control Office (SACO) taskers, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverable reviews, subsystem specification reviews, system specification reviews, safety boards, and major contract requirements packages.
