About the Position: As the Army's primary integrator of C5ISR technologies and systems, the U.S. Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center conducts Research and Development, or R&D, across a wide variety of capability areas that support all of the Army's Modernization priorities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- The C5ISR Center is soliciting candidates to serve as an Engineer within the C5ISR Center Engineering Support Branch, Air Integration and Engineering Division, Engineering and Systems Integration Directorate.
- Design, evaluate schematic diagrams, and perform other derivative engineering tasks to generate a body of evidence for Air Worthiness Release approvals.
- Perform structural, vibrational, and aerodynamic analysis on military aircraft (manned and unmanned). Author applicable experiment plans/technical reports.
- Prepare presentations and thorough technical reports and other engineering documentations to meet the standard of Army Airworthiness Release approval.
- Research and provide knowledge solutions to integrated components safely on aircraft per Army Aviation and/or Federal Aviation Administration standard.
- Actively communicate and collaborate within engineering team, in-person and virtually.
- Troubleshoot and calibrate test equipment.
- Familiarity with aviation technical manuals to generate validation/verification
- Experience with additive manufacturing and 3D scanning/reverse engineering.
