There’s a job opening in the Soldier Center Office of the Director! 

This position serves as an Executive Assistant and office manager to the Technical Director and Office of the Director staff. You will be responsible for the performance and coordination of all administrative management and procedural functions of the organization. The Executive Assistant develops plans for the integration of day-to-day and long-range projects, actions and activities. You will gather, assemble, and analyze facts and presents oral and written reports of compiled data.

APPOINTMENT TYPE: This is a 2-year Modified Term appointment. This appointment has the ability to be extended to 6 years. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

- Prepare/coordinate arrangements for meetings, briefings, and other activities.
- Use software to manipulate files, produce correspondence, reports, and briefing aids. 
- Receive and personally determines appropriate action of official correspondence.
- Compose replies for signature without consultation, establish priorities for appointments, accept or decline invitations to meetings, and arrange for representation.
- Author, review and edit correspondence, make travel arrangements, and receive visitors and telephone call.

- In-depth knowledge of executive administrative processes and procedures.

- Experience in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify and resolve issues.
 
- Skill in application of fact-finding and investigative techniques; oral and written communications; and development of presentations and reports.
