Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Serves as the Chief Engineer for a major Army Air and Missile Defense (AMD) effector system responsible for leadership of all engineering disciplines across all technical activities associated with the system.
• Provides subject matter expertise to the Product Manager on engineering efforts to support program planning, development, integration, production, modernization and sustainment activities.
• Leadership of engineering efforts across the acquisition lifecycle for missiles, sensors, lasers and launchers which includes integration with Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) framework.
• Supervises multiple employees, performing all supervisory duties to include time and attendance management, travel coordination and approval, work assignments and progress monitoring, mentorship and disciplinary functions.
