About the Position: The DEVCOM Analysis Center (DAC) is an Army organization comprised mostly of civilian science and engineering professionals. DAC's mission is to deliver objective analysis, experimentation, and data across the entire life cycle to ensure our Warfighters are ready today and more ready in the future. DAC is one of eight science and technology domains within the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) that serves 21 locations across the United States.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Serve as Security Specialist for the DEVCOM Analysis Center (DAC) G-2 Intelligence and Security Office at WSMR, NM.
• Interpret laws, rules, and regulations in developing security program policies and procedures.
• Review reports of investigations, incidents, or unfavorable information and make recommendations to the Security Manager.
• Manage daily Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) related activities assigned by the Special Security Office (SSO).
• Serve as the organization’s Special Security Representative (SSR), both inside and outside the organization.
• Fully track and maintain accountability for daily SCI mission performance and reports monthly statistics, through required metrics, to the SSO.
• Track and facilitate SCI read-on and debriefs, maintain a Trusted Agent account as the SSO backup, and facilitate Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS) account requests.
