In this position, you will provide guidance, direction and coaching in partnership with venture capitalist, incubators, small businesses, prime contractors, and nonprofit organizations.

Duties:

  • Coordinating and developing the Army Applications Laboratory entrepreneur development program.
  • Developing marketing activities to governmental agencies, venture capitalist, and small business stakeholders in order to identify new and emerging markets and potential partners.
  • Planning, coordinating, and implementing entrepreneur activities and strategic initiatives for AAL through a hybrid structure.
  • Coaching AAL Project Managers to assist in the development of their marketing and communication plans.
  • Developing and maintaining relationship with key contacts within the emerging market. Maintaining senior level contacts with other federal agencies for the purpose of developing new partnering opportunities.
  • Coordinating marketing leads and client development with other Department of Defense stakeholders.
  • Representing AAL within the entrepreneur and the venture capital community.

To be considered qualified, resume must reflect the specialized experience in the following areas:

  1.  Experience in the areas of business development with emphasis on startup concepts and venture capital.
  2.  Experience developing innovative and creative solutions affecting the warfighters, program effectiveness and/or the improvement of strategic plans.
  3.  Experience with customer outreach and marketing in order to assemble cross-functional/matrix structure teams while providing direction, guidance, marketing and sales methods and assistance in proposal development.
  4.  Experience analyzing and evaluating methods to forge new partnership and/or approaches.
  5.  Experience incorporating program plans in order to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of other similar business process improvements, and initiatives.
