Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Serves as an organizational advisor to the Commanding General, on Human Resource Management (HRM) programs affecting Senior Executive Service (SES), Scientific and Professional (ST), and Senior Level (SL) (above GS-15 equivalent) personnel.
- Determines executive personnel needs related to the accomplishment of organizational missions, goals, and initiatives aligned with Army priorities.
- Keeps executive-level employees advised of proposed legislative changes.
- Provides recommendations to management and leadership on adjustments to program plans necessary to solve complex or unusual issues and resolve deficiencies identified.
- Provides strategic advisory services, guidance, and authoritative interpretation to organizational senior leaders.
- Reviews and analyzes higher echelon policy and regulations related to organizational initiatives.
- Serves as a senior action officer on special assignments tied to one or more areas of diverse human resources and executive management programs.
- Collaborates with management in employing change process concepts and techniques by assessing organizational readiness for change, marketing organizational awareness, and leading change initiatives.
