This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Bachelor's Degrees for Scientific and Engineering Positions (STRLs) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Chemical Biological Center (CBC) is the nation's principal research and development resource for non-medical chemical and biological defense.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor the scientific and development initiatives for projects assigned which include exploratory, advanced or full scale development programs.
• Provide technical assistance or advice to ensure Chemical Biological Defense project goals are met.
• Plan overall development and product improvement programs including program plans, costs, facilities, and time schedules.
• Present technical papers or reports to various groups.
