About the Position: Serves as the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Analysis Center's (also known as DAC) G-1 Chief responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies for the center and is the human resources subject matter expert, consulting with and providing advice to the highest level of management in the organization covering all areas of civilian human resources management.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Formulates and administers the strategic management plans, programs and goals for use across the organization.
  • Performs strategic analyses studies of one time and long range recurring issues impacting the operations of the major mission areas and its support of the organization’s missions.
  • Provides advice to managers on solutions to problems related to their human resources programs.
  • Develops effective civilian human resources business processes and employment policies and evaluates historical practices to streamline and improve quality of services.
  • Analyzes complex cases involving interpretation of human resource regulations and laws to recommend an appropriate course of action.
