About the Position: This is a Program Analyst position located within the US Army Futures Command, Futures and Concepts Center, Deputy Director/Chief of Staff, G-4/8, Financial Capital Management Division at Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis, Virginia is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Advises primary staff, subordinate organizations, and senior leadership on interpretation and application of programming policies, directives and strategies for obtaining approval of proposed programs.
• Prepares formal Program Objective Memorandum (POM) presentations on the Command POM submissions. Reviews and analyzes POM input for conformance with guidance and instructions.
• Develops and updates strategic plans through the command's POM and budget cycles, which includes review of the command's allocation of monetary resources through the Department of Defense (Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution cycle.
• Analyzes command input, trends, and program inconsistencies considering funding and appropriation constraints and regulations.
• Prepares analyses, makes decisions and recommends presentation of data under conditions of frequently changing and conflicting guidance.
