Lead Operations Officer

About the Position: You will serve as an Operations Officer. The Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) is the Army's technology leader. Providing solutions to meet operations or developing break-through technology for the next generation, DEVCOM remains forefront of what the Soldier eats, wears, fires and drives.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage organizational program operations and activities.
• Develop and articulate strategy for Science and Technology (S and T) engagements in support of agency plans.
• Facilitate partnerships throughout the broader DOD S and T Enterprise.
• Promulgate strategic communications.
• Serves as a team lead.
• Serve as the lead coordinator/approving official on force-protection requirements and Individual Anti-Terrorism Plans (IATPs).
• Translate senior leader guidance and vision into operational objectives and tasks
• Oversee planning, management, and execution of DFE contributions to the International XTechSearch and other tech competitions.
• Integrate team strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
• Train or arrange training of team members to accomplish tasks or projects
