This is a Developmental Position and may be filled at either grade level (GS-13 or GS-14) with the full performance level/target grade of the position GS-14.

To qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below:

Specialized Experience for GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes: gathering data in order to examine programs/functional areas for conformance with assigned mission, functions and workload; interpreting and/or applying management guidelines, regulations and policies; assisting with developing comprehensive management studies to accomplish program goals and objectives.

Specialized Experience for GS-14: One year of specialized experience which includes: analyzing data in order to increase accuracy of forecasting and identification of workforce trends; developing and implementing policies pertaining to programs/functional areas for conformance as part of total transformation efforts and functions; providing technical advice and guidance to senior leaders; overseeing the execution and implementation of policy affecting enterprise and strategic frameworks; analyzing data to identify and/or rectify workforce and competency gaps.

Salary: $92,977 to $142,830 per year

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Applies principles and theories of data analysis in order to achieve an effective and efficient strategic human capital plan for the Command.
  • Develops analysis action plans by identifying and defining scope of problem and choosing appropriate metrics and analytic techniques.
  • Performs analyses for difficult-to-define, controversial, new or novel systems and functions.
  • Coordinates with various analytic and functional offices to accurately assess and model HR programs.
  • Presents summary of analysis results to senior leaders.
  • Manages Command personnel data architecture and human resources enterprise software in order to establish standard processes and practices for maintaining and reporting personnel data.
