About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W6EYAA US ARMY COMBAT CAPABILITIES DEV CMD.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Serves as Intelligence Specialist at the Major Subordinate Command (MSC) level, as a member of the Intelligence and Threat Support Team and as assistant and advisor to the command Intelligence and Threat Support Officer.
  • Assists in development and oversight of command policies related to Threat Intelligence Support and Information Security Program.
  • Performs research, analysis and publication of various scheduled and ad hoc Scientific and Technical Intelligence products.
  • Assumes responsibility for the command Threat Dissemination System (TDS).
  • Joins command-wide Integration Concepts Team (IPTs) as necessary to directly provide appropriate level of Scientific and Technical Intelligence and Threat Support.
  • Works with Foreign Intelligence Officers (FIOs) throughout the command.
  • Maintains awareness of Scientific and Technical Intelligence program requirements and recommends updates to command policies as required.
