Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct inquiries into a wide range of complaints and requests for assistance to recommend appropriate and conclusive action.
• Develop, coordinate, and lead inspections directed by the commanding general.
• Execute inspector general functions IAW with AR 20-1.
• Coordinate external inspections, investigations, and inquiries conducted by higher level commands.
• Investigate situations associated with alleged abuse of command prerogatives; unequal application of law, regulation, procedure and/or policy.
• Serve as point for coordination, action, and review of IG reports generated at higher levels, as well as other reports of interest to the IG (GAO, AAA, and Congressional and Presidential inquiries).
