About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead Human Resources, Personnel and Force Management specialist for Army Futures Command's (AFC) Directorate of Intelligence and Security’s (DoIS).
  • Maintain liaison with counterparts within AFC, AFC Direct Reporting Unit’s (DRU) intelligence sections, and external intelligence organizations to ensure coordination of approaches to AFC's human resourcing, personnel and force management.
  • Assess future developments related to Directorate programs and activities to advise leaders of personnel and force management challenges, risks and opportunities.
  • Manage the Directorate’s responsibilities for evaluations, including military, civilian and contract personnel.
  • Produce appropriate tracking mechanisms to ensure awards are accounted for and completed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular reviews of financial records, programmatic activities, and performance metrics and advises Directorate leadership on a routine basis.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other AFC directorates, AFC Direct Reporting Unit’s (DRU) intelligence sections, and intelligence production centers and external organizations.
