About the Position: As the Army's primary integrator of C5ISR technologies and systems, the U.S. Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center conducts Research and Development, or R&D, across a wide variety of capability areas that support all of the Army's Modernization priorities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Serves as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and supervisor within the C5ISR Center, Chief Information Office Division, Cybersecurity Office, responsible for the overall planning, direction, and administration of the Cybersecurity Program.
- Manage cyber security programs, develop policies and procedures, process requests, and track and mitigate system vulnerabilities.
- Performs oversight reviews to monitor program implementation and practices in meeting the cybersecurity requirements.
- Develop security plans, local policy guidance, implementation plan and procedures, standard operating procedures for the systems.
- Reviews risk assessments and analyze impact of potential vulnerabilities.
- Provides briefing to all organizational level on systems authorization status and provides necessary coordination to acquire the desired authorizations for systems.
- Provides or coordinate the Cybersecurity Engineering efforts and support to the required Assessment and Authorization process for various network requirements.
